BIA:NW’s geography has extended - from Crewe to Carlisle...

Business in the Arts:North West’s geographic remit has always mirrored that of its key funder, North West Arts Board. As part of the restructuring of arts funding, the North West region has been redefined to match that of the North West Development Agency.

As a consequence, during the course of 2002/03, BIA:NW will begin to deliver services to Cumbria.  Obviously, it will take a little time to secure funding and then recruit new candidates for the programmes, but work has begun.

This also means that from 1 April 2002, the High Peak District of Derbyshire is served by Arts & Business East Midlands.  They can be reached on 0115-964 5648
